Xbox is wired to the router, pc is wireless to the router. I believe that i do have DHCP. In my router settings DHCP server is enabled

that's alright.
Can you find the IP address of the Xbox.
If you can, on the PC, click start -> run and type cmd and hit enter
You should get a black window you can type in.
type ping 192.168.1.3 (replace my demo IP with the Xbox's ip.)
If your PC can see the Xbox on the network you should get 4 responses that look like this:
Reply from 192.168.1.3: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=62
Reply from 192.168.1.3: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=62
Reply from 192.168.1.3: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=62
Reply from 192.168.1.3: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=62

In the Network part of the settings blade.
It should be in there somewhere.
a. Move to the System area.
b. Select Network Settings.
c. Select Edit Settings.
d. Select IP Settings.
It may tell you here.

Do this:
a. Move to the System area.
b. Select Network Settings.
c. Select Edit Settings.
And you should get this screen:
The IP is listed there.
If not, post what is there.

Well, what's the IP address? It's listed there (in the screen), IP Address = 192.168.1.102
