Portable Device Problems! (MP3 player)

Hi all,

I just had a though of plugging in my portable device player. I plugged it in and went to portable device player however, it couldnt recognise/ plau any music. I own a Sony NWA-1000 MP3 player. I plugged it in using the USB cable for it (one end into mp3 then the usb end into xbox. However, i cannot see why it couldnt recognise any of the music. It had alot of different catergories when i went onto it which looked very confusing and said it had no songs in there???

please help, Gadz

Did you make sure to select "removable device" (or whatever it's called, I can't remember exactly)? Just asking the obvious first.

Some mp3 players just dont work with the 360 & some that do work only work if you have the correct firmware drivers on the mp3 player, although it never worked with mine even when i had that on, (i had a creative).
