Well, in Australia at least, the price drop has already happened.
And the Premium is still the way to go. It's the best value for money by far and now comes with HDMI (if you use that). Get it!

As a matter of fact, I do. If you read thru everyone's choice & reasoning behind it, many different opinions come out, very few which specifically address my needs. Spend more time actually helping people rather than responding as you did. If you don't like a question, ignore it.

Thanks, Bish. That's exactly what I did. I'm not the gamer fanatic that most of you are and there's nothing wrong with that. You guys all have much more knowledge about this than I ever will and I appreciate all of the help you guys have provided over the months. It's down to this for me... keep buying older or used Xbox games or upgrade to the 360. I'm only trying to be sure to get the system that fits my gaming style.

If you purchase the Arcade pack, you will highly regret it. Part of the Xbox 360 experience is downloading add on's, which require significant space. Also, game saves take up some space too. You will also want the headset for xbox live. With the premium now only $350, and perhaps dropping to $300? (I've heard you can get it now for this price), there is no reason not to purchase the premium package.
