CONVERT TO PC!!!11oneone
Hello guys.
It would be fair to say im a hardcore gamer and ive spent ALOT of hours on my 360. IMO, those days were fun. GOW became an addiction for me, and its fair to say i was uber at it at one point...
However, the Xbox is old days for me now...
I recently got a new PC, and honestly, Xbox games have nothing on PC games. If you havent played PC games, youre missing out... classic 360 games such as GOW, GRAW and Rainbow 6: Vegas have NOTHING on PC games such as CS:S, COD2 and Generals.
Another crucial point is that more people play computer games compared to Xbox games.
PC's are the greatest gaming platforms thats exist. They are fully customizable to your needs/ requirements, and can cost any about of money to suit your budget and needs/ requirements...
My 360 is gathering dust. i dont wish to sell it, because it would be like selling part of me. That part of me is long gone, but it still existed. TRY PC GAMES. you will fall in love with them.
Please respect my opinion, and Admins, please dont ban me as a spammer, because im not... i was addicted to this site at one point... so to delete me would be a shame.

Consoles is where the future of gaming not PC's. Its a shame you left your 360 for PC.

Im sorry, but PCs are where its at. you can put whatever you want in a PC. if you change your 360, you get your warrenty void... i have a better graphics card in my PC than my 360...

I'd agree, but they need to do one thing. Make a keyboard and mouse setup for FPS. FPS with a control sucks monkeys nuts.

I've got linux on my PS3, so I can game and do my internet banking and work on important business docs at home. Does that count?

Yeah exactly. its way better with a keyboard, and im mainly an FPS gamer, so it suits me well

Basically you left 360 because you can't mod it like PC, because of the seal. I'm I right? Personally I won't mod either, I just wouldn't dutch my 360 over PC because of it.
Anyways we all have our own taste, I guess. Good luck with your PC gaming.

Here's my gripe with PC gaming.
You spend $1500+ every 2 years to keep with the latest hardware so you can play the latest games at good detail levels and good frame rates.
Consoles when released cost from $600 - $1000AUD, and have a 5 year life cycle. In the past the only upgrades you've needed are more controls and more memory cards. The 360 and the PS3 don't even need that, as they both have large capacity HDDs.
Console gaming seems alot more cost effective to me. But as I said before, I play FPS, and I can't play FPS for shit with a control.

it depends on what you like. fps is definitely better on pc. and the graphics/resolution on pc is so far beyond any console, it's no comparison. however, gameplay of certain games seems better on consoles. depends what you play and what you like. i bought xbox for sports and racing games. graphics are still ok, but noticibly worse. but the improved gameplay makes up for it. shooters though, gameplay and graphics far superior on pc. also have to factor in budget and what you can afford.
