Mine used to freeze up really bad, had to send it back to M$ and Gunit, i've heard that having it on carpet isn't a good thing to do....Oh well...

Can I just say that I do not believe that the XBOX 360 freezing problem is to do with the console overheating. My brother has the freezing problem, this occurs after 5 mins of the machine being switched on, you can't tell me that in 5 minutes the 360 generates enough heat to freeze up!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 360 gets really warm and hasn't frozen at all, I've had about 40-50 hours of gameplay time so far, the power supply also gets quite hot as well. Power supplies very rarely run cold/warm due to the current passing through them.

feezing isn't allways caused by heat but alot of the times it is. And not by the 360 itself but the powersupply. That has to have plenty of room to breath, you can't just stick it behind the tv set.

I've had no problem playing bona fide Xbox 360 games so far, but mine really does not like Halo2. Keeps crashing. Anyone else had that problem?
