Freezing 360
Hey, i've been playing my 360 since Christmas day and it has been fine until today. It just froze twice while i was playing king kong. It is working fine now.

My Xbox 360 is well ventilated and the PSU is elevated 1cm off the ground. Im not sure if i should use the warranty and get a new one or should i just ignore the freezes? Is it worth it just to make sure that i have a working 360 before the 90 day warranty runs out?

Also, if you have had any similar experiances then please share them, thnx.

I have had mine since christmas too. It has froze once on half-life 2 and 3 times when I was playing split-screen on halo 2

That's because it has design flaws that cause it to overheat. Don't send it back. You'll only contribute to the shortage many claim doesn't exist. If everyone who has a faulty 360 sends them back, the demand for new consoles will shoot back up and MS will have to use consoles that were designated for the retailers to replace the faulty ones. I suggest you live with it.

id say just wait it out a little bit and if it gets bad send it back. but i dont think two freezes is enough grounds to set it back

ive had my 360 for 10 days. i had 2 freezes in that time. so i called microsoft they shipped me a box. but the box for some reason didnt arrive. so i caled them for another, ova the weekend i have been debatin weather 2 send it back.

well just tonite after only about an hour off play,

freeze!!!!!!!

my conclusion it can only get worse, send it back! i am
