xbox 360 & USB
so what can i use all the USB ports for ? i was trying to find out why they are there & what can they be used for ...
can i hook up a usb hard drive ? or maybe use a usb keyboard ? or what about a usb wireless wifi card ?
dunno what i can use them for i wonder if there is a link that will tell me just want the heck they are for & why thy are there

you can put a usb HDD in to play your mp3's from

Also the USB ports are used for the wired controllers, too

so a USB HDD so like a apple ipod will allow me to play my mp3's or what about view videos if so what fomat dose the video need to be coded in ? avi. mp4 , ?
and do i need a dvd controler to play dvds like you need with the older xbox ?

usb wireless adapters will not work on the 360. only the official microsoft one will

wmv's are the only video format you can watch
to watch avi's etc you need to use tversity or Orb

I have hooked my Ipod and a usb keyboard to the slots on my 360. External HDD can as well

uhh, not true. True not all of them will work, but there are known devices that will work. If I ever wanted to go wireless I wouldn't give microsoft 100 dollars for a freakin wireless adapter.
