Microsoft and best buy hate me.

My 360 stopped working so I called microsoft and they told me I couldnt send it back for some really stupid reason that I don't remember. Game stop wouldnt return it. So I ended up calling my local best buy to see if the had any in stock so I could just buy a new one turns out they had one premium and one core. So I asked if they would hold the premium till i got there 45 minutes later they said ok. So I get there and give them my name and they told me I could't have it because someone had called them and asked them to hold it. I was like yah that was me I ended up showing them my Drivers License. It turns out they idiot that took the call had misspelled my name so badly in the computer it looked nothing like how my name is actully spelled. Then just too piss me off I'm sure I asked about the core they supposedly had and the guy was like oh so and so some asshole that worked there just bought it to sell it on E-bay. So to make a long story short I'm stuck without a 360 for God knows how long.

BB will hold one for you....right!!!
Was told core was bought by a BB employee to flip on ebay (cores have little value on ebay, actually lose money there)....right!!!

You sound like you are full of it. You most of voided your warranty so deal with it.

I bought the 360 off my friend and I im pretty sure he opened it thats why M$ wouldnt take it back he actully talked to them not me. And the dude at BB did say he would would hold it for up to one hour then he would sell it.and about the core being sold on ebay thats what the guy told me. I didnt go and find the guy that bought it and tell him you wont get your money back on ebay. so im not full of it.I dont know why im even tryin to justify it with you Calavera.

OK... get your money back from your bud and get one from BB or CC. They are getting weekly shipments. Did your bud tell you that he opened it before he sold it to you?

actually, his friend might have not opened it.
he might have registered it in his name.
all your friend has to do is call MS and change the registered owner to you atv. then you should be set.
have some faith in MS. they are watching their backs too.
but make sure your friend hasn't opened the box though to void the warranty.
if all he did was register it, then have him call MS and switch the registered owner. simple as that.
