360 elite help

hi there, i'm thinking of getting a 360 elite for christmas, and was wondering if they played games from the original xbox,

Not the smartest of ideas posting your hotmail address on the forums

You'll get spammed no end by all the spambots that are on this website and others which prowl around looking for open email addresses....not to mention nuisance emails from other people

Anyway, back on topic. I'm not sure if the actual list gets updated but I know most Xbox games work unless they're already on the 360's catalogue such as NFS:Most Wanted

Do you not need a Backwards Compatibility Update? I got mine through the Official XBOX Magazine, or through XBOX live.
