360 Console Startup Issue

It takes two startups on my Xbox 360 before I get a picture or audio on my tv. I wait about 5 seconds before I turn it on the 2nd time. I need to do this every time I turn it on for the first time that day. The 360 is about 3 months old, is kept in a cool basement, always fully ventilated, and is played at most twice a week for about 3 hours each time. Also, I'm using component cables, but do not utilize the HDTV switch as my tv is not compatible. I don't know if it's going to lead to something more severe.

sometimes mine takes like 5 seconds to start too. I don't think it's a problem.

Yeah, I think they all do that.

i have the exact same problem, once and awhile it'll start up on the first try, but usually doesn't turn on until the 2nd try
my console is just over 2 months old

and it most definitely is a problem, its not that it takes us 5 seconds to start up, its that they fully do not start up on the first try and then we have to turn it off and restart

oh also, i had this problem even when i used another brand of cables that a friend lent me, both using HD and using component

Will game take it back if i tell then it dosent load up first time?

as i have some warranty left
