New to XBox360: Best Connection to TV?

Interested for your help on this: I've just bought a 2nd hand XBox360 and it doesn't have an HDMI socket but ... my TV is definitely HDMI capable. I've connected to the TV with the Yellow plug (video) and the white & red plugs (audio); there are 3 more plugs coming off the same lead that the TV doesn't have a socket for!

The XBox system tells me I'm connected "TV Widescreen PAL-60". It looks OK but I'ld really like to know whether this is the best quality picture that is possible.

the red green and blue plugs are used for HD and have a better quality than the yellow red and white.

Indeed, you would use the PbPrPg video outputs instead of the yellow. If your TV is hidef, it will have these inputs.
