Amazon.com or Gamestop?
Guys, need your advice and experience regarding buying used games. I'm going to get an Xbox 360 Pro this week but I would be low on cash for buying new games. So I've considered buying used games, also because the games I want are released in 2006 or just last year,so I'm hoping that the prices would be low.I have two options, either buying from Amazon or Gamestop.
My problem with Gamestop is that their used games are just $5 off from the original price.
Anyway any advice on whats the best way to go would be aprreciated, thanks!

Go to your local Blockbuster. They sell pre-used games cheaply.

Honestly. I ALWAYS buy used games on Amazon.com. They are always MUCH cheaper compared to Gamestop. You can actually go to gamestop.com and see what their in-store used prices are. This way you can compare that to Amazon.com, but I ALWAYS, 100% of the time, find it cheaper on Amazon! Just buy from a well respected seller and you will be fine!

thanks!yeah,I called the Gamestop stores in my area, and it's like buying new games without the tax. So I will be buying from Amazon, way cheaper and the price is just right for used games.just want to hear what you guys have to say. Anyway I'm planning to get Oblivion,Mass Effect,The Orange Box, Bioshock and Halo 3!
Can't wait to get my Xbox!

I typically find games cheaper on Amazon. It is only on a very rare occasion that I choose Gamestop over Amazon. Probably only when I really want the game and I can't wait for it to arrive at my house.

I like gamestop because I am always on the fast track, I dont have time to sell my used games online, instead I trade them in and get about 50% of original value plus another 10% with edge card. Then I put that towards the next game.
but if you dont mind waiting, then amazon or anything online for that matter is the way to go

I'd say gamestop even though I never bought a game from Amazon. I bought 4 used games and 3 had 0 scratchs from gamestop and I couldnt even be more happy with my purchase. All I bought for my PS2 is used games. Thats the way to go IMO. Save $$$ + get a like new game.
