The link also talks about the next Xbox 360 console code named " Valhalla" which will use 45nm chips. So it looks like the new Jasper board is more than just 65nm chips. Can't wait to pick one of these up.

No disrespect meant here lethal but you just got rid of your 360's to buy a ps3. But your gonna get another one for the sake of a revised chipset?

I have had my 60gb PS3 since launch day. I had 2 Xbox 360s and sold one and traded the other for another 60gb PS3. I got rid of my consoles because I knew I was going to buy the Jasper and I wanted top dollar for my consoles.

Finally, this is why I'm waiting to get the 360. I figured that if I got one now, it would be dead by the time the Jaspers came out. Let's hope this solves the problems because I don't want some crappy console that will break on me soon.

now I just bought a 360 from walmart, when this version comes out do you think I could give my 360 the rrod and get the new one from walmart?
