XBOX 360 Holiday Bundle

Well I;m thinking of buying an XBOX 360. I can either ghet it from GameCrazy with 12 FREE Game Rentals. Or from Radioshack as a Holiday Bundle with Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I want to get the Bundle but i dont know if it has the updated motherboard (Falcon) built in already. Any help?

i would say go for the 12 free rentals from gamecrazy

ultimate alliance and forza 2 are sub-par games..

dont worry about the whole overheating issue..people on these boards and everywhere have overplayed the issue entirely.

if your console is affected it will die and there is nothing you can do. Falcon chip or not.

So just play all you want and dont worry about the RROD

Worst case scenario is you get the RROD and you have to send it in

you lose a month of gameplay but you are reimbursed with a free month of XBL.

just buy a 360, its a flippin awesome machine with the best titles out there, you wont be disappointed, just dont worry about the RROD. it's unnecessary anxiety.

I believe you can see the MFG date with it still in the box and some one has stated that anything built after january 08 should be a falcon. Can anyone confirm?

but to try out games, can't i just download the free game demos? instead of getting rentals?

The 2 games will be worth more trading in then the value of the rentals i think...

I'd go with the Forza 2/MUA bundle.Forza 2 is a pretty good game.And it has good multiplayer.Never played MUA so your on your own there.But if you rent games you'll get into the game then you'll have to take it back.So i would just take the 2 pack and save up for some games and dl the demo
