Well, after reading the various posts from other users about their systems failing and being glad that it hadn't happened to mine, it finally did. Friday May 30 I got the dreaded RRoD. I left for Missouri the following day to visit some family, and so I unplugged everything hoping that when I returned home everything would be okay.

No luck. Came home and everything was still the same. I contacted Xbox Support to get my "coffin" on June 2nd. I was just wondering who all out there has had to go through this and how long did it take for your personal process. Thanks.

Monday, June 2, 2008:: Request "coffin"
Tuesday, June 3, 2008:: Notified that coffin has been shipped

Friday, June 6, 2008:: Sent box and console back to Repair Center in Texas.. time to go back to my PS2 for a while :\
