is normal for the xbox to get warm but not HOT
just make sure that the xbox is not in an enclosed space like a drawer or cupboard ya know...make sure it gets plenty of airflow like have it away from the wall and everything
DONT get an air cooler tho...ive known a few friends who have fucked up their box from those pieces of shit.
so just make sure the box stays cool in a open space and you should be fine

My discs are warm, but discs shouldn't come out incredibly hot.
Try to do as much as possible to make sure your Xbox isn't getting too hot. Make sure your Xbox is on a hard surface and not on carpet etc. because it will get clogged up with fluff, and could overheat. Also, if you can, put it on its side so that the fans so the bottom gets good ventilation too. And try not to play the game/your Xbox for many hours at a time (4+) because it's working quite hard.

Unfortunately this is a problem that happens, and with my last xbox, the heat was so great that the constant transition from hot to cold caused my game discs to crack. MS will replace your console, but not your discs, even if the console destroyed them....
