Yes you are, don't take any advice to the contrary. Your new console should be given to you there and then, let them deal with getting your broken console repaired.

Yeah thats what i thought mate. Its no different the buying a dvd player or camera. If its faulty then they will give you a new one there and then, i can't see whey a 360 should be treated any different.

Indeed, they might try to pull a fast one though seeing as there are probably a high volume of returns for 360's, don't let them!
