Need advise from expert like YOU
I'm all new to xbox 360, I'm trying to buy Xbox 360 over nintendo Wii and found out that there are few versions.

can anyone please tell me the different between xbox 360 pro and elite?

what is the Hard drive storage 20G and 120G use for?

Can I download game online and save it at the hard drive so i can play it directly from there?

Do i have to change the chip set in order to play those self burned (bootleg) dvd game?

i know its a lot of question but I really want to know more before buying this console.

One is black with huge storage, the other is white with tiny storage

Yes you can flash the firmware on older DVD drives to play game backups. But you can't mod the games, like Halo 2 modding. It has to be a 1:1 backups. But depending on when you bought your console you might have gotten a Lite On DVD drive....

What that means? Unflashable drive currently.

1. Not everyone is a software pirate. Some are, that is a given. But also it is to prevent this.



If I scratch a disc, I just burn another copy, costs me the cost of 1 DVD+R DL disc. If someone else scratches a disc, they have to go thru the Microsoft replacement plan, or they have to buy a new 60 dollar disc.

2. I go on Live everyday with a flashed DVD drive and backups. Haven't been banned yet.
