Red Flashing Lights? Sign of Over Heat?
so the other day i rented a movie that just came out called Vantage Point and since i use my xbox as my dvd player i popped the movie in last night and started to watching so an hour into the movie it just stops all of a sudden on me and when stopped the movie to turn the xbox off it worked fine for about 5 minutes or so then all 4 lights started flashing again.What I was wondering was
what would cause this after i was signed out of xbox live at the time since i was just watching a movie would love some answers and i after sleeping on it last night i was also thinking isn't this a sign of over heating and also on a side note this is the refurbished xbox i got when i sent my first one in for the E74 error i also was not getting any error messages when the lights were flashing

K, if I remeber correctly, that means the visual connection cable is not plugged in all the way. If you have done that the whole circle flashes. It's the decieving RRoD. It's not RRoD. just replug everything all the way.

It is the equivilant of the RROD. Call Microsoft or fix it yourself.

It's NOT the red ring of death!!

4 red ring segments means you just need to plug in the A/V cable into your console, it came unhooked!

Your console is fine, just hook in the cable.

O I thought RROD was his problem...then ya your console is fine. Your AV cable is screwed up.

thats what it was thanks man thought it was a RROD error myself just popped in Halo 3 and its fine thanks y'all
