OK w/e. But hat is HOW they fix consoles w/ the RROD. Doesn't matter who they give the consoles to, repaired, refurbished, new, old, all 360's can break and most do.

It's not a big problem... It's only the hard-drive disconnecting!
All you need to do if it happens again is to turn of the console, remove the hard-drive, put it back in, turn the console on and play!!!
If it still happens, try blowing some dust from the hard-drive conection place!!!

Heh, you are correct. You don't get the one you sent in. You get one that god knows how many times it has been wrapped in a towel or who knows what. MS does a shit job of repairing your xbox for someone else, as they did with someone else's, for you. But hey, you get a 6 month warranty extension and a month of live free.
If mine fails again, I'll take my chances with my skills...

I'll argue that. Mine didn't. I got 3 months. Of course, mine died with only a month left.

New Post-Service Warranty
If we repair your Xbox 360 within the original warranty period, you will receive either the balance of your original warranty, or 90 days, whichever is longer. In addition, we will pay for the shipping both ways.
If we repair your Xbox 360 after the warranty period has expired, while you will be responsible for the repair costs, you will receive either the balance of your original warranty (if it has not yet expired for all conditions), or one year, whichever is longer.

You were correct, I did misspeak in my first post. I said 6 months. I meant 3 months. Have a nice day.

I've already done a 12 hour marathon. Then my bro did a 12 hour marathon. My xbox looked like it was fine. And it broke, 2 weeks ago.
It was, like most, in the coolest part of the house, in a well ventilated area, on a table, horiztonal, with nothing on it or around it. But, it still broke.
Your xbox may SEEM fine, but it is far from it. Read up on X-Clamps, the warping of the motherboard, or the post i did in THIS very thread, you'll understand the problem.
@Madden
I say we start to take over the world with China, get a HUGE work force, then get Korea, to get an army. We shall take over the world with faulty X-Clamps, and, with stale, dry fortune cookies!

Join the dark side...
We have cookies!
The fun with fortune cookies is the fact that you can add "in bed" at the end of all the fortune cookies. I know, it's immature, i know, its not grown-up. But damn, oh damn, is it funny!

We could put your mom jokes on the inside.
Sample fortune-There is paper inside this cookie, there was something different inside your mom last night.

I dont get it, this is past my intellectual level!
I'm still at knock knock and "NOT" jokes. And they are still complicated!
Another sample fortune- This cookie is smooth to the touch, as if it were shaven. In a related story, your mom is.
