I have the same, but different problem.
I also get 1 light, but me its cause my GPU has unstuck itself from the Motherboard, i got E74.
I'd recommend you improve ventilation in the xbox, or if you feel cowboyish, do the X-Clamp fix. I'm going to do it soon, but I'm waiting for the thermal paste to arrive!
To improve ventilation you should change the stock fans in back (CHANGE, don't put aftermarket ones on the back of the stock fans) and put a little XCM high speed fan pointing towards the GPU heat-sink and the air output. Should fix it all.
In a nutshell, the reason you have that error is because of the X-Clamps on the heat-sinks on the processors. The X-Clamp is what clamps the heat-sinks to the processors, and because of little tiny manufacturing defects, the X-Clamp does not clamp evenly, therefore it acts as a lever on the processor, pulling it excessively down in the middle and actually pulling it up at the edge of the processor. When your xbox gets hot, it warps the motherboard and after many, many heat cycles, your motherboard warps so much(because of the X-Clamps) that the processor solder balls break, causing the dreaded RROD or just 1 light of death.
So, improve airflow so that your motherboard doesn't warp, or, fix the problem at the root with a X-Clamp fix. you can find different tutorials all over the net, here's one
http://copronymous.com/wp-content/up...-the-3rlod.pdf
its an adobe document.

all you can do is call Microsoft if you don't want to worry about loosing your warranty man thats all you "officially" can do cause Microsoft does NOT condone self fixes as most of them void your warranty..........

1. All of them void your warranty.
2. You don't have to loose your warranty if you are smart.
3. Of course Microsoft doesn't condone self fixes.
4. The way Microsoft fixes your Xbox, it is going to break again. They reflow the solder with a professional reflow machine, but they apply shit thermal paste, don't upgrade the cooling in the system, and put the X clamps back on....your console will keep breaking.
