Green Ring of Death?
Hey Guys and Gals, i just did a search on a problem I am having, but found nothing. This afternoon, I turned on my X-Box 360 and found that it wont read discs or dvd's, but it was fine just this morning  3 out of 4 rings are solid GREEN(They are the same rings that would indicate a RROD) and the rest of the XBOX appears to function normally.
Any Ideas??

Im guessing you have 3 controllers or 2 and a media remote connected and it can't read your disc which might be scratched.

he said it wont read anything so there must be a problem with it... maybe it just keeps freezing? or does it actually come up with a message saying it couldnt read the discs?

Ok, I feel somewhat retarded. Yea it was the controllers causing the "rings", but it still wont read any discs. No error message, it just saves "Open Tray"
Laser is probably shot...

You probably just need to clean the laser with rubbing alcohol.
Also google "Laser pot mod"

Sorry its abit of topic but can you use those C.D's that you put in a C.D. player / ps2 and they have a brush on them and you put the C.D in and as it spins it cleans the laser? Or is the laser in a different place on the 360?
