it get's hot inside, the disc is spinning and there is a laser reading it. Don't worry, I have a console that is 2+ years old now and it's always been hot and has never had any problems.

Intercoolers::::::I wouldn't use the think if the company sponsored me. It's totally unnecessary garbage. Additional cooling is simply unnecessary and my 2+ year old console pretty much proves it. Anything that takes power from the console itself is a bad idea.

all 360s run hot. there's nothing you can do really. it should be fine.

and do not buy an intercooler, they are a waste of money and can actually cause your console to get RROD.

Intec has now released an inter-cooler that has its own power supply, i would use that if you were planing on using anything.

I think that you can buy cooling stations. But I've never seen one. I"ll look into that.

Simple, 1 of your processors in underneath your DVD drive, makes your DVD's get hot.

You should change the fans in back of your xbox(not ADD, but CHANGE)

if you want to have an xbox, 100% worry free, do the X-Clamp replacement (google it) and add a fan beside your CPU to further improve air flow.

If you have any other questions, PM me, Madden or Lethal.

Just keep the xbox in a well ventilated area, mine doesn't run hot at all. As for the PS3, my friend's runs way hotter than my xbox. But, no problems from either!

I used to believe that till my xbox RROD itself. I had my xbox alone on a table, horizontal with a 6foot radius of nothing around it.

It was in the coolest part of my house(basement) and never abused(aka 24 hour gaming sessions). Longest ive ever played in 1 sitting is 8 hours. woooo.

After 2 years, it RRODed.

you will NEED to improve airflow. Change the stock fans and add a fan beside the CPU, you will reduce RROD. Change x-Clamp, you will be 100% RROD proof.
