I have a question regarding to the disc reading of the 360. My disc goes into the 360 nice and easily, any game does. The problem is none of them can be read properly. It gets to the profile/console screen, where you can look at what you've put on your hardware, and edit profile's etc. Anyway, when I click open tray, and then close it again, it says reading for about 3-4 seconds, and then it says open tray again. This is telling me that the game isn't being read properly. I have a feeling it might be something to do with the laser not working properly.
Anything I can do to get it to work?

Ok, so i tried cleaning the lens and making sure all cords are tight...
didnt work...
for more info on my problem...check out my post, title is something like.....
My xbox 360 elite drive is broke. Or is it my system?

What the heck is error e64?
Hi,
so i started up my xbox 360 and at first it was fine but everytime i tried playing WAW it stopped working, then when i turned it on it would not go to the main screen and then got 1 red ring in the bottom right corner and the screen sed error and at the bottom it said E64
this xbox came from the company after it get the 3 red rings twice so i did not buy this from any outside source, it came directly from the microsoft, so idk wat the problem is because it is not defined in tech support in microsoft's website

E64: DVD Drive Error.... DVD Timeout, Wrong firmware, dvd is without f/w chip, etc.
You'll have to replace the DVD drive  |
