I went to Bestbuy today and asked the attendant to take the new xbox 360 60g out of the box to verify some info. For what I saw, it has a 175w PSU and the manufactor date was Jun.' 2008. I don't know if that means jasper or no jasper, but i have read some review which indicate that the new xbox runs cooler and quiter.

did u end up buying it? Because if u didn't i Call BS because no attendant would open the box up for u no unless u have purchesed it. because once as the box is opened they then can not sell it new and is then a waste of a 360

I'm not going to get upset about your reply because in most cases, that is true. However, my friend this person also wanted to see if it was true because she wanted to get one. So, we went in the storage room and she CAREFULLY opened the box. She put it back together perfectly. So being i understand where you're coming from, but dude I got lucky. Sorry if you don't believe me. That's your prob. I'm just trying to find a solution to this puzzle.

hate to say it but i still don't believe you.

A how did u get in the storage room?
B only employees can go back there
C even if u did open it carefully the buyer of that 360 will be able to tell somebody opened it and took the 360 out

D why did u put this person at risk of loosing there job????
E saying a girl did it makes me less believe it because most girls wouldn't do it afraid of loosing there job and there more nit picky on company policy. just MHO though

You don't have to believe me; there's no reson for me to make this stuff up. I'm new to this xbox thing and trying to find some answers. I've heard so many opinions on this topic. I posted another thread about this, but I will ask you because there are a lot of people requiring this same info. How could you be so sure that the just released xbox 60g has the jasper motherboards? Please provide some reference. Someone ask you if you had the site or proof and you said that you lost the link. Who do i believe now when MS won't even freakin tell me.

With all do respect, i only asked a question, and she said that she has gotten several calls on the same question. Therefore, she said, well let's take a look, because she wanted one also.
