i know lol, i think thats why people say that PS3's are better "less chance then breaking then the crappy xbox 360" i hate it when people say that.

I still have my Xbox 360 now for about 3 months still in great condition!

Im also new here to this site. I also had the same problem with the 2 red lights which is supposed to mean overheating. I let my xbox cool down for more than a day,turned it on and the red lights came up automatically. I was told that the heatsink isnt attatched to the board anymore. When it overheats the screws get loose. So i applied pressure on the top and bam! it worked. I still sent it out to the company I got it from and am getting a new one. At least I know now what it is if I ever have the problem again (knock on wood

haha, lol. If you got a new one it should be less likely to red ring/ break because of overheating. 'The company' is Microsoft, one of the biggest companys in the world, or do you mean the shop. Your covered for 3 years so its no sweat anyway. MS no they fucked up in designing the consoled and went for looks and rushed the thing so tehy could get a head start on the competition, but finally after 4 years new boxs seem to have fixed the problems. (but thats not to say all new boxs won't fail)

well i just wanted to make sure because im going for my 2nd xbox and i want to be sure.
Does the 360 elite gets the RROD??? I've seen many videos of elite with the RROD but im thinking of buying a fan with it, the one attachs to it from behind, also i put it on my living room and play when the air is on, it is in top of a DVD 10cm away from my HD TV on a big furniture, 30cm away from the wall, is that okay?? because i play A LOT because i like dead rising mostly and i play it all day :P
