Hey guys, i just joined this site and i plan on enjoying reading what you all have to say! i have a question though, im trying to figure out what console i have (falcon or jasper). here's what mine says right above the MADE IN CHINA tag. 12V---16,5A;5V---1A <--- what does that mean?

I have a Falcon Elite, may 2008, and it gave me E-74 and then RROD.

so far its been good been 2 months since it was last sent in.

14 pages of posts on this thread. Interesting information for a noob like me. Even though some do not read all the posts and ask questions that have already been answered there seems to be a great deal of patience shown by most posters. I am off to shop for my first xbox this week and really appreciate all of the information you all have given. Should be interesting to see the reaction from the stores sales people when I go looking for a "Jasper" LOL

i just got mine you need to look for the 12.1 a forget the rest look for the 12.1A in he eyelid of the box they usually are the one with the sonic arcade box totally green,they come with 2 diferent power bricks one is 150w and the second one is 175w, since the xbox only takes de power it needs to work, i got the 175w,but it is super quiet i got mine at ebay,for 215.00 with the sipping brand new

The guys at Best Buy asked "what numbers" I was looking for and helped me. Problem is, as I've stated earlier, I forgot most of the numbers and ended up going by the manufacture date, which in my case, was a complete screw-up.
