Demo downloads are slow - can I download to PC first??

I have adsl 2+ where I have reached speeds of 17mbs at times on my pc. My xbox 360, however, is painfully slow when downloading game demos etc.

It was actually faster when I only had adsl 1.

I have tried setting up a port forward and also contacted the isp to see if they knew what was happening but to no avail.

I was wondering whether it was possible to download the demos etc onto my pc first - and then transfer them via disc to the 360?

I am guessing not but it can't hurt to ask right?

Thanks - Pete.

no you can't...the only place you can save demos are to a 360 hard drive.

you've really seen 17mb on adsl2+? theoretically it's only capable of 24, so if you've seen 17 that's freaking amazing

Your demo's are only slow because you must have a bad internet connection, Make sure your plugs etc are all connected very well from your Xbox to your Computer. If the slow download continues get in contact with your internet provider.
