Handheld Steering Controller

I am looking for a handheld steering controller for my 360. Something similar to that used for RC cars or the controller Gamester made for the original xBox. Links to anything other than the table mounted steering wheel wuth separate pedals appreciated.

I could be wrong but unless you modded a 360 controller I don't think that any manufacturer makes those kind of controllers.

Are you aware of someone having done a mod like this and if so, would you share a link? Also, do most of you guys who play the driving games use the standard x360 controller or do you use the steering wheel and pedals? At this point, I feel the standard controller is limiting my times in games like Dirt. Any advice appreciated.
