Why can't my xbox360 play songs off my laptop?
So my 360 and my laptop are on the same wireless network, my laptop shows up in the 360 menu, I'm able to see my entire music library on the xbox, but I click to play a song and it says "Can't play song, try playing from the dashboard to troubleshoot" or something like that. Why is this happening? All my songs are .mp3. I want to be able to play music while I play games. All my music is downloaded (i know..sorry) so it isn't the whole copyright thing that you can't play purchased music. I also have the optional media update too.

You'd be better off putting all your songs on an iPod or Mp3, then hooking it up to your 360.

Burn them into a CD,put CD in xbox,should work  |
