First mod_controller/faceplate

So my friends and i (after painting a batman emblem on the hood of his car) decided that we should paint our xbox's. well i wanted to make mine look like Blue Tiger Camo from COD4, so i borrowed my brother's airbrush and dove head on. turned out as i expected...not amazing, but quite respectable for my first time wielding an airbrush :-) I'll post pics after the clearcoat dries.

i am thinking about swapping the SMD LED's in the controller to a blue and backlighting the XYBA buttons..i know llama did a tut on this; however, i am uncertain where the power supply on the controller is for me to solder the LED's to (not exceptional with electronics...yet).

i didnt use any of your tips tho lethal (having stumbled across this forum today); however, i will definitely use them on my next endeavors.

do you have to put plexiglass on it or can you just do the cut and leave it open? would that help cool it down? and does taking the tin shield help keep it cooler?

On one of you threads someone asked you if they would be able to get repairs if the warrinty sticker was on still and they moded there case, you suggested that they should have bought a 2nd case for moding and keeping the original case just in case.
But where could I buy a case for moding at?

what do you think would happen if you didnt get the plexiglass and left it open and say you accidentaly spill pop or koolaid or just water on you're 360.
granite you could mess it up any way by spilling something on it but it's much more likely to get inside of it and destroy the processor
