I recall Lethal saying cathodes produce less heat than LEDs. I think that's why he prefers them.  |

You are correct. LEDs put off lots of heat. Cold cathodes give off no heat. I named the thread with LEDs because its quicker lol. But I highly recommend cathodes over the LEDs. But yes LEDs do look better.

Yeah.. My cathodes got hotter than my leds ever have but to each his own i assume.

i would do this but honestly i dont care how easy you say it is...im afraid i will fuck up my box...and i dont got money to burn

I used cathodes in my comp and well IMO nothing illuminates better  I had a ton of dead spots before i installed them.

lol. Everybody has their own preference. I prefer cold cathodes because they give off like zero heat. I think they look better as well.
