well, you can but it voids your warranty. this is a way to open the case and keep your warranty.

Ok for everyone asking about the Resident Evil edition..i got my 360 yesterday and got it modded today by this dude who does this for business..the sticker on the faceplate are the newer stickers( the new ones u see on repaired consoles too) and its not that hard to remove.He did it sucessfully.But he told me that there was a sticker on the liteon drive too which he was NOT able to remove aka more often than not ur not gonna be able to remove that..Now i was wondering if it makes any sense holding on to that sticker on the faceplate if MS is gonna check the one inside the drive..but i dunno..im pretty sure no1 has sent their RE5 bundles for repair yet ,and even if so,have actually gotten em back so cant really tell as of now.I guess we gotta wait and watch.

so a person can look inside the xbox 360 without voiding the warranty. if u send in a xbox 360 without a sticker then microsoft will send it back for tampering. by using heat a person can just open it then put the sticker back on to get it fixed.
my only thing is what if the sticker isn't sticky when i put it on paper.. can glue work again? i would assume that once microsoft takes the sticker off they just put a new one on. |

I removed my sticker successfully but now there's that sticker on my drive  does anyone know how to remove it so I can put it back later? |

You should be able to use the same method.
