The whole point of doing this is to prevent the rrod. Once you get the rrod it's too late to do this stuff.

But if your xbox is less than 3yrs old, you dont have to worry about it cuz the rrod is covered under the warranty.

Thats a pretty good idea.I have had my 360 RROD 2x with in 2yrs now.But the last time i got the dreaded RROD i sent it in and ran to BestBuy and picked up a Arcade 360 so i didnt have to wait till my 360 came back home lol.But to my surprise the Arcade 360 i bought is a Jasper Chip set so it was worth it spending the extra cash.But anywho thanks for the tut on how to keep our 360s clean and staying RROD free hopefully.Can you purchase those heat pads anywhere?Like say i wanted to buy some where would one go to to purchase them?Cause iam realy thinking of doing this to my older 360 for extra protection since shes getting up there in age.

Hi guys im pretty ew to the xbox scene , just interested to know are the intercooler, clip on the back fans, any goof for your 360 or would you recomend installing an internal fan

I know this is not much but i did this all by hand and i was surprised how well i did. The one on the face plate is quake.
