Yeah, I don't know where legality came into play with this question. I wanted to know so I don't need to keep my gaming PC on all the time as a server to stream my movies or music.
Also someone had mentioned coding on the hard drive or any other size will simply not work. Not sure if you are familiar but ghosting makes an exact image of the hard drive, boot sector and all. Or are you saying that the 360 bios denys the wrong LBA count? I find that kind of hard to believe since I am sure as with any other computer mfg. that they never use the same hard drives over time since the supply and firmwares and all that are forever changing. I ordered 6 of the same machines from HP all configured the same and 2 of them had WD drives and the rest have Segates. I'm kind of curious as to how many different drives MS uses on these 360 drives.
