Paint my case?

Ok so when my xbox arrives i am turning it into a mod festival!! No doubt it won't look as good as others on this forum, but it is my first, and as lethal said patience is the key. So i read lethal's very helpful guide to painting and i know what to do, but i am not sure about the sand-paper, i live in england so i am not sure what to ask for in my local DIY store, and is laquer just like a clear coating which drys hard?

Goodluck with the moding bud hope it all goes well. I yes I think laquer is what you say As I know with biking it stops the paint flaking/scratching off easy.

Not sure what grits you have in england but anything over 500 works pretty good. I personely do wet sanding which uses lots of water before and after each coat. Its what they do with cars. It gives you a very smooth finish.

Hi new to the site. I work in England at auto body repair and paint shop it is called the body shop. I paint cars for a living so painting is not new to me. I’ve just painted my xbox 360 in black and green auto air colors. I used opaque black and iridescent green to give a bit of a sparkle to the colour. I used a medium-duty spray gun and a 0.5mm air bush. I give the 360 a clear coat from omi-cron it is a 2PK lacquer. It gives it a glass finish and solid mainly used on cars. I got my supplies from work but you can get the paint from custompaintshop.co.uk and the clear coat comes from ebay.
