Disc Protectors?
Hi Guys,
Ever since I got my 360 it has, occasionally, scratched the games for no reason, and once in a while the drive makes a bit of a grinding noise while spinning up/down.
First I'll get it out the way: I DO NOT, have not, and NEVER will move my console while it is turned on. I'm totally paranoid about that, if I ever have to move it I even unplug it just so I don't knock the power button.
My console is mounted on its side on a stable, flat and perfectly level surface to the side of the TV, it can't get knocked or nudged.
After ringing MS when I first got it to try get a replacement they told me MS UK has a deal with their retailers, if a game is scratched by the console then take it back to the shop and you will get a replacement. Which I have to say they have been very good at, not been refused one yet.
However Im getting pretty sick of having to return my games and I've lost a couple of receipts.
Is there anything out there I can try and do to stop the disc from moving in the drive?
I see that Divineo do a protector very cheap, that claims to solve the problem, does it work? are there other solutions?
Many thanks!
Fixxer

Hiya buddy
I found these which don't look too bad
Have a look
There's a video presentation on the product too.
I'm sure that QVC are not the only retailers of the product either.

Hi B-Cat77,
Thanks for that but the link just takes me to the QVC product search page. You got the product name or ID so I can do a search.
Cheers,

Found a direct link: d_skins protect your CD's and never scratch a again
Looks pretty cool actually, if they work then could be the answer to my problems. Only just over £1.40 each too, not bad at all!
Thanks alot,

Your welcome mate!
You're right, not a bad price when you consider it protects a £40 game

Yeah thats a pretty smart idea, but at the end of the day, if your machine works like it should do then you shouldnt need to buy these !!!
