XCM Temp monitors and paint!
Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of getting one of those XCM high speed air cooler and temperature monitor packs. First of all I'd like to ask if these are the only temp monitors on the market, as they are the only ones I can seem to find.
Secondly has anyone tried painting one of these?
I am waiting for my new case to arrive to start the full modifications but at the moment I don't really feel its going to stay White.
Could someone who has seen one of the XCM monitors say if its possible to dissemble it without distroying the casing? or if not can I just mask off the LCD screen and airbrush the plastic without fear of leaks?

I've seen people paint the LCD screen, I'd say if you're careful, you can take it apart. I also don't think that these are the only fans on the market, but it is the one I use.

I am sure you can use some type of computer monitor. It just wont be mounted in the back like that. There are plenty of PC temp monitors on the market but this is the only xbox360 one.

Yup I painted one of mine to match the Halo 3 case. Its easy to paint and I only used painters tape to cover the LCD screen.

Got an XCM one ordered up this morning. When it arrives I'll strip it down and put some pics up for anyone else thinking of doing it.
