Actually that is an outdated picture. Those are referred to as BenQ's, there are not Philips drives.

OK, well, if you want to remove the hacked firmware and replace it with orignal firmware, you are going to have dissasemble your Xbox 360 and hook up the Drive to your computer's motherboard.

If you don't like the sounds of that, then just give up now.

I can however reflash your drive for you, it'll cost ya, but not much, pretty simple job.

Why remove the hacked firmware? If your hacked firmware is iXtreme you won't get baned from live. Just make sure you don't have Xtreme firmware, has to be iXtreme.

iXtreme firmware won't run a game unless it has stealth files, which protect you from being baned.

But, if you want to flash your drive then your going to need a sata card, has to be a via chipset.

Well you can't tell which firmware you have until you dump it.

And ya, you need SATA. Personally, my motherboard has SATA built in. But ifyou don't you can purchase a PCI SATA card off of eBay.

So if you can get back to us on if you have SATA capabilities get back to us. And again, I will do it for you if you don't want to or can't...

Well, he could always make a backup without stealth. If it runs its Xtreme if it doesn't its iXtreme.

Ya well he probably doesn't have the resources to make backups. If he can make backups he probably has the resources to dump his FW.
