So what do I use...

After reading almost every thread and sticky, this forum has opened my eyes to modding.

I plan on modding my 360, but I have a few questions first.

What should I use to cut the plastic case (for a window) if I do not own a dremel?

Is there any sort of knife or cutting device I could use to get the job done? (nothing to fancy, just a square or several large shapes)

Also for my window I'm going to obviously need some plexiglass.

What thickness should I buy it in?
And

Any suggested sites or places to buy plexiglass?

Thanks so much, I'll make sure to post a thread posting my progress as soon as I start.

Your a life saver.

I figure I could pick that wheel to add to my drill at home depot as well?

Anyone have a link on what it should look like?

Also can that cut the plastic case as well as the plexiglass?

Yeah I don't see why not. Just be careful you don't accidentally scuff your surfaces. Make sure you have some Hot glue to keep the Plexiglass in the case..

Word to the wise... Glue it INSIDE the case..

'Snapping' plexi is the cleanest and leaves the best finished edge but is also a skill that is learned by breaking some.

Keep in mind, 1/8 plexi can break with any type of handling. Give it a shot, might surprise yourself.

Also, if you use a cutoff wheel on the clear plexi, keep a buffer to what will be scene, and keep the wheel speed down as some plastics discolor with heat.
