pioneer 111d vs. 115d

I have a 5th gen XPS and I wanted to burn my own DL'ed games. I bought a pioneer 111D and could not get it to burn games. My one freidn seems to think tha tthis burner might be to old for my computer. The computer recognizes the drive as being what it is but it just wont burn disc of ANY kind. I did some research and found the new 115D and was wondering what anyone thought about it. Also I was wondering if anyone knew if this burner would work with my XPS. I dont' know why the 111 would not so I am confused on the issue. Andy help would be appretiated.

No the 11D drives are very good. Pioneer drives are great.

Unfortuneatly, you are talking about burning backups. Not allowed here.

And you are talking about burning downloaded games, not allowed to be talked about on ANY forum.

So...I would research correctly how to burn games on google...(google Xbox backup creator...)

And have you flashed your 360 to play backups?

My bad. I did not know that I was not able to post a question like that. I know how to burn and I have the correct progs to do so. My problem is that I cannot get the 111D to burn a disc. I have no idea what the deal is. yea 360 is golden. ms28 stealth flashed....she even plays online

I just heard that the 111d might not work with my gen5 and was wondering if anyone knew anythign about that.

Does it work like for reading DVDs and such? Can you burn CDs?

no...the comp recognizes that it is a 111. but it will not burn anything of any kind. I just dont want to buy the 115 and have it do the same thing

Well then have you tried installing the drivers for it?

yea, It all the most up to date drivers installed. My friend was saying that it has to do with the BIOS of the comp as well He said there are certain parts like this old 111D that would not work with my newer computer. Sound right to you?
