Why do Microsoft sell Offical body cases?

I dont understand why Microsoft sell new cases to put on your console if when you take off your original you break the warrenty sticker, so people arent going to buy them are they?
Is there any way to change the case with out breaking the sticker?

Microsoft doesn't sell new cases, the official cases you can buy on eBay/etc are ones taken off of dead consoles or replaced with aftermarket cases (like colored ones) and people are selling their old case parts to make some money.

no like when you preorder games some times you getthe limited edition blah blah blah case you know what i mean? and it comes with the front panel and the sides. iv seen some for gears of war and chrome ones

cause they want you to mess up the warranty, or as a collector item. maybe both? do yiou mean like a clip not the case its self?

id love to mod my xbox but im worried about the warrenty, and 360's aint well known for there reliabilty now are they lol!!!!

i dont know but im planning on modding my xbox fuck the warranty, almost all of the things you could fix yourself. and theres ways to keep the sticker just in case you want to keep the warranty..

Seriously...the only thing they sell are faceplates, not cases! You're probably thinking about faceplates, in which case you don't have to remove the warranty sticker. It's only the front part of the case that you can easily pop on and off yourself...it was designed to have a removable faceplate.

i have seen ones that include the side panels as well though but perhaps they just clip on over the top or summin, although i think Microsoft are being stupid you shud be able to take the case off with you wanted, they should have the sticker else where, its just a case you should be able to change it if you want. it shouldnt threaten your warrenty just to change how it looks. i can under stand adding lights and stuff but just to change the case seems a bit OTT.
