ordered a new LCD temp sensor this time it is only a single, So i'm trying to remember of the top of my head which chip get's hotter the cpu or the gpu and that will be the one I get a reading from so if anyone remeber which one is hotter let me know.

I'm pretty sure the GPU gets hotter, though the CPU has the Xbox's temp sensor.

well Idk if I just bought a cheap thermal take LCD temp sensor of ebay or what but the thing will not work on either chips also it will not work even next to a chip just shows dashes for the temp reading, It seems to be having problems with the arctic silver 5 thermal compound I used... So I have no idea as to where to mount the sensor to get a good reading for you guys. Let me know

got my numbers from this chart. The CPU is 21* hotter in stock form.

I have no idea what happend but after I took the temp sensor out and hooked everything back up the xbox now has the RROD 
If anyone was interested in the project and wants it with the RROD I will trade just the xbox 360 no HHD for a working xbox 360 with no HHD |

If it has RROD check your heatsinks / processors. For some reason, 1 of the processor chips has lifted off the motherboard, probably due to uneven pressure from the heatsinks.
Try to retighten the heatsinks down a bit.
