No. Doesn't work like that

I just tape the clear parts up then cut it with a very small exacto blade, takes a little time but I tried the pulling the button apart and taping it was way easier for me

That's 1 way, but it is easy to screw up, scratch your power symbol, etc.

Easiest way, get a pelican faceplate, the whole ROL disassemble, power symbol included..

you can use masking tape and use a exacto knife to cut the design out. that could be my best help there
