My Iron Man review.

Hey everyone, just thought I'd give a review of a game that I've recently picked up and played. Before I start, please know that this is an HONEST review of my personal opinion and that this is my first review of a game so be nice

Iron Man, the movie, was a great accomplishment and perhaps my favorite movie of 2008. But does the game really live up to the hype of the movie? In my opinion, not really. The game follows the exact storyline of the movie with some minorly different things happening. Basically, in Iron Man, you go around as Iron Man (obviously) and kill enemy ground troops, tanks, planes, helicopters and more, flying around the levels in suped up turbo jet things in your suit. One bad thing about Iron Man is that it gets EXTREMELY repetitive. Almost all of the enemies die in the same motion, dropping to their knees and then flat on their face. The combat of the game consists of about 3 buttons, B to melee or take out vehicles, Y to shoot missiles, and the Right Trigger to use your primary weapon, which is mostly your flame thrower. There are some cool customization factors of the game that make it somewhat interesting, but that can't really make up for the mediocre gameplay. The graphics in the game are OK at best, but are very far from great. The controls of the game are very flimsy and unstable and hard to use, flying gets difficult and annoying at times but this can sometimes be overlooked. Overall, I'd say this game is what you should expect from another movie-game and is a giant waste of $60, but if you are able to rent games and you like Iron Man, rent it, but don't buy it.

Value - 4/10

Overall score - 6/10.

Good review. I could tell from the demo that this game was probably going to be insanely repetitive. I didnt like the controls at all either.

I didn't buy the game just to review it. I actually just got it because I saw the movie first and it was awesome, so I picked up the game.

From the demo I'd give the game 3/10.
