Sky in October

David it is just another pointless waste of space peice of crap from Live just to get more money from you!

To get it you need a Sky subscription with multi room or it will cost a fortune for it. You would be better off just getting either a Sky dish on your wall if you dont have Sky or another Sky box. Then you can have all channels for the same price as Sky Player and not be limited to the crappy channels.

I have full Sky package and a Sky+ box less than 3 feet from my 360. So when I want to watch Sky all I have to do is change channel

So if you are a Sky subscriber to Sports and Movies etc, you will be able to receive these for free via the 360, or will the Sky Player service on the 360 be chargeable?

Im not too sure how this works, and am interested myself, but guessing, id say if you already have sky, you'll probably have to setup that multiroom with sky, which costs like a tenner more a month, then you can connect you xbox to watch shit. Like i say, its a guess, but makes sense.

How is this pointless? It's great for people who have Sky downstairs and would also like to watch it upstairs (like me). I can't get multiroom as we have a Sky+ box downstairs and one in my sisters room and 2 is the limit for Sky+ (I also couldn't use it as I have a monitor, not a TV). Not everyone has their 350 3 feet away from their Sky box.

The announcement about it is very vague, especially on pricing so I don't know how you came to the conclusion that you need a sky subscription + multiroom. Evidence of this?
