Get what I got, my pedal was snapped in two as well. It's a top cover that screws into the plastic pedal. It isn't flemsy at all so even though your pedal is broken, once screwed to the cover, it becomes new again. What I have, is about 27$ shipped and installs in ten/fifteen minutes.

Its just a cover, but once you screw the two broken pieces of your pedal to this cover, it makes it all firm. Trust me, it works.

The ghetto way to fix your problem, is to take two butterknives and plus the tip of the knives at the base of the pedal, behind the pedal, on either side, and duct tape the shit outta it. It's easy to do and works very well.

I was laughing to myself cuz yesterday I was at the UPS store sending a package and the guy next to me was trying to send back his rock band pedal because it broke! I was thinking about the forum.

haha, well this is how that is supposed to work:

You call customer service and they ask you several questions. Then they will send you a empty pre-paid return box (like microsoft does for the xboxs that need work) and they send you a new one when they get the old one in.

I came home one day and they had shipped me a new one and I never sent off my old one.
