Or you can not be a retard and take your discs out when you are wanting to move the xbox. This is not a big deal at all, RROD is a big deal.

who's done that? moving an xbox when its off, with a game in wont affect it.
if you move it whilst a games playing, then M$ say not to.

Friends did it to two of my games within an hour of each other

Silly thing to do granted but still a really poor design fault. anything else I have ever had with a CD drive you could practically throw round the room without trouble.

I have read about the disk scratching problems, that's why i'll never put my console vertical. horizontal's the way most computer disk drives are, and I've never had a scratched disk yet.

That problem is the reason that I sold my first console, and almost didn't buy another one. It pissed me off that MS knew about this problem and refused to do anything about it.

Although.. In 2 years, I have never had one game get scratched... not even a bit. I sell most of my games on Amazon when I'm through with them, so I inspect them frequently for any defects...

STOP MOVING YOUR CONSOLE WHEN THE DISC IS SPINNING!

IN FACT: It's a VOLATILE machine... DONT TOUCH IT AT ALL UNLESS CHANGING DISCS! LOL

I got fed up with MS and bought a Mac computer.... but I can't give up my 360... too many great games.

I had two different consoles that scratched games, and no, I didn't cause it to happen. Both times, my 360 made a grinding noise while playing. So I turned the console off without moving it, opened the disc tray, and my games had white rings round them.
