Recommended arcade games?
So everyone at my work is playing arcade games, and I never really got into them since I could never figure out which ones were good or bad. One of my friends plays them more than regular games. The only arcade game I have is BF: 1943. I really don't have a preference in genre, since i play all kinds. Just tell me which ones are your favorites

I'm a classic gamer, so games like Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Gauntlet, Outrun, Bubble Bobble Neo and Worms are reat to play. As for Newer games, check out Shadow Complex, Trials HD and Splosion Man.

There's over 200 arcade games on the marketplace, and a thread just like this one gets made like every 2 weeks
If you go onto gamemarketplace, arcade and then select ALL, and go right twice on the left analog stick, then it will SHOW you the top rated games. One kinda newish feature on xbl is being able to rate games, and like i just said theres over 200 arcade games on the market place (246 to be exact) and they add new arcade games pretty much once a week.
There's shit loads of threads asking this exact same question, people arnt gonna list every single arcade game, they just tend to list the ones they own. Instead of making a thread u should just download all the trials for games that look appealing to you and try them out. It'll take awhile but at least YOU'LL GET UR FUCKING ANSWER

Good Mature Games
I'm going to recommend to you a couple of my favorite arcade games:
1. The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai -- maybe one of the most under-rated games on XBLA. Gory as hell, cyborgs, zombies, lots of depth, RPG elements, co-op, multiple game types, cool achievements.
2. I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMBIES 1N IT!!!1 -- Kind of a ridiculous name and put me off from getting it for awhile. When I found out it was by the same devs as Dishwasher, I bought it and, wow.. It costs just a dollar and it's pretty awesome. Co-op enabled. Find it under Indie games. If you're buying points and getting some games, get this one too!
3. Shadow Complex -- Amazing. It is very Metroid-esque in gameplay. All single player but one of the best new titles and arcade experiences out there.
4. Zombie Apocalypse -- If you're looking for good co-op games, then this is a pretty good, newer one.
Personally I like the more mature games. There are lots of XBLA titles with good ratings that seem, well, rather childish.. Though they're probably still fun. Hope this helps.
