connect to xbox live wirelessly without adapter???
this ebayer makes the claim at the bottom of his/her listing, that they know how to connect a 360 to a wireless network through a wireless enabled laptop with just an ethernet cable, is this possible? any one know how?

sure, your laptop will just be acting as a gateway for your internet connection. as long as your laptop can connect to the internet wirelessly and you run a crossover cable (not patch cable) to your xbox it should work.
just the same as connecting directly to a desktop with an internet connection.
if i'm wrong then excuse my mistake  . but technically it should work. |

it does work, including on a mac i do it with ibook g3 as a server pc/gateway

Its nothing new, its just using ICS or using a wireless/laptop PC

ugh
9 hours.....
9 HOURS WITH XBOX CUSTOMER SERVICE
and i still am not connected to x box live...
using this technique...is it only with windows? and i tried ethernet and cross over with a mac laptop...neither of them worked...
ugh..
im going to throw my xbox out the window

hm..
is there someone that can come to my house to try and figure this out? im sick of dealing with this..
